Description: The Global Brand Database is a free online database maintained by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). It contains over 56 million trademark records from around 55 national and international sources. The database serves several key functions: Trademark Clearance Searches, Brand Monitoring, Enforcement Activities, Policy and Legislation, and Access to Trademark Information. It allows users to search for existing trademarks, track similar trademarks, provides evidence for litigation, supports research on trademark trends, and provides comprehensive information on registered trademarks including name, owner's details, registration and expiration dates, class information, status, and associated documents. The database also includes international trademarks registered under the Madrid System, appellations of origin registered under the Lisbon system, and armorial bearings, flags, and other state emblems.
