Brand Details
Type: Service
Description: AWS Lambda is a serverless compute service offered by Amazon Web Services (AWS). It allows developers to run code without managing servers. Users create functions (self-contained applications) in various supported programming languages, upload them to AWS Lambda, and the service executes these functions efficiently and flexibly in response to events. These events can range from changes in data state to user actions on a website. AWS Lambda handles the underlying infrastructure, including servers, operating systems, and networking, allowing developers to focus on writing application code. The service scales automatically and charges based on compute time and memory usage. Lambda integrates with other AWS services and can be used for various tasks such as building backend services, processing data streams, and serving web pages.

I've started programming, but, on my own computer, I recently used Replit, and, I realized, can these online IDEs actually run the code better/faster than my computer can? I mean I guess it runs on their servers..and, I have a little dual core 2.5ghz, is Replit faster?
