Brand Details

Type: Product

Description: Apple's AirTag is a small, Bluetooth-enabled tracking device designed to help users locate lost items. Users attach the AirTag to keys, bags, or other belongings. If the item is lost, the AirTag's location can be tracked using Apple's Find My app on an iPhone, iPad, or Mac. The AirTag uses Apple's crowdsourced Find My network—a vast network of Apple devices—to detect and anonymously report its Bluetooth signal, helping to pinpoint its location. While it doesn't have GPS, it can provide a fairly accurate location if it's within range of a device on the Find My network. More precise location tracking is available using ultra-wideband (UWB) technology on newer iPhones. The AirTag's battery is replaceable and lasts for approximately one year. Note that AirTags only work with Apple devices and the Find My app; they cannot be tracked via a web browser.
