Brand Details

Type: Brand

Description: Compaq was an American information technology company founded in 1982. It developed, sold, and supported computers and related products and services. Known for producing some of the first IBM PC-compatible computers, Compaq became the world's largest supplier of PC systems during the 1990s. In 2002, Compaq merged with Hewlett-Packard (HP), and the Compaq brand was retired by HP in 2013. Therefore, there is no longer an independent Compaq website. While `www.compaq.com` is mentioned in one source, it is highly unlikely to be active.
